DREAMS!!!!!!!!!

We all Dream for part of every night even though we don't always remember our Dreams or what we have been dreaming about. If you want to find the meanings of your dreams the first thing you need to do is write them down. It is the first step on the way to discovering exactly what your dreams mean.

Always keep a note book and pen beside your bed and if you wake up during a dream jot down what you can. You can always fill out the details later in the day. Try to put aside some time to just sit and reflect on your dream and recall it in as much detail as possible. Often you can wake up in the middle of a dream and then when you fall asleep again go back into the same dream.

Often you will find yourself in a situation where you have a vague feeling or memory that you have been to a place before. It could be that you feel you have been in the same physical place before, or that you have met the people you are with before, even though they may be complete strangers. This can cause you to feel a bit uneasy, until you remember that, yes you have indeed been in that pace before but in one of your dreams. Dreams in which you meet people and later you actually do meet them in real life are more common than people think.

Writing down you dreams will help to give your dream some sort of order or form. Most dreams tend to be very fluid with some images very fleeting, the images may be changing so fast it is hard to keep up. Once you get into the habit of recording your dreams understanding them will become a lot easier. The meaning might not always be apparent at first. Often a dream will hold the key to some future event.

The elements in your dream must be taken as a whole, you need to look at the whole dream and what it means. Also your dreams have to be looked at in the context of your life and what is happening. A student might dream about sitting staring at a blank sheet of paper unable to write, sweat pouring off the forehead, with the teacher taking on dog like features drooling and frothing at the mouth. Such a dream the night before a major exam would be simple to understand as pre exam jitters. There would be no point in asking "what does it mean if you see a dog in your dream"!

Discovering the meaning of your dream is just the beginning, travelling to faraway places, meeting famous people, acting in your dreams, controlling your dreams, lucid dreaming where the dream state can be as real as our waking state.......

Keeping a dream journal will open up a whole new world of possibilities. Writing down your dreams is just the first step to increasing your awareness. The dreamscape is only just being explored, what exciting adventures and discoveries await us as we go to sleep each night?

Sweet Dreams!!!!!!!!
